Steamed bean pudding โ soft, savoury and ridiculously satisfying.

Ingredients
- Honey beans, peeled500 g
- Red bell peppers2
- Scotch bonnet1
- Onion1
- Palm oil100 ml
- Bouillon, salt, crayfishto taste
- Boiled egg or fishoptional
Steps

Blend the peeled beans with peppers, onion and a little water into a thick smooth batter.

Stir in palm oil, crayfish, bouillon and salt. The batter should drop slowly from a spoon.

Ladle into greased moulds, ramekins or foil cups. Add a piece of boiled egg or fish if using.

Steam for 50 minutes over medium heat. Top up the water as needed.

Cool slightly, then unmould. Serve with bread, garri or alone.
